Picking up the pieces after the soulful, instrumental hip-hop-influenced jazz single “Who Rules the World”, the adventurous jazz-hybrid collective Jiyu goes on a new journey with this dreamy second single, “So Many Moons to Go”. Jiyu producer & guitar player Emil Jonathan Soeegaard has packed this new track with fresh and uplifting energy, and Danish/ Senegalese artist Kinck drops her deadly honest verses between the air bubbles of the vibraphone and guitar main themes played by Carsten Skov & Soeegaard, and the horn-themes, played by Bo Rande. So sit back and enjoy the effortless fusion between styles - So many Moons to Go will leave you floating weightless on moon-lit clouds, gently motored by drum machine samples and six string touch-wah bass. A full length album is cooking on the mixing deck – stay tuned!
